13-Inch Rear Tires
Older Standard Mini XRS, Mini XRX and Mini XRX-R models use a direct cable-operated rear caliper. These parts are not the same as the hydraulic components used on current Plus Minis.
16-Inch Rear Tires
Plus Minis use a cable-actuated hydraulic system: the pedal cable pulls a master cylinder, which sends hydraulic pressure to the rear caliper. This applies to the current Mini XRS+, Mini XRX+ and Mini XRX-R+.
Mid-Size Hydraulic Brakes
Mid XRS and Mid XRX components are listed separately from some Mid XRX-R and Blazer 200R components. Use the exact model category even when the old calipers or master cylinders look alike.
Legacy Full-Size Platform
The 150 family uses hydraulic disc brakes, but do not order 200-series parts merely because the chassis looks similar. Confirm the original 150 model and the brake position.
Full-Size 200 Platform
The 200 family uses hydraulic front and rear disc brakes. Match the front caliper side, rear assembly and master cylinder to the exact model and production equipment.
Different Rear Brake Systems
The 300 models share some front-brake and master-cylinder components, but the XRS and independent-rear-suspension XRX use different rear assemblies. Never substitute an XRS rear caliper for an XRX part by appearance.
