How fast do full-size karts go?
Varies by model, rider weight, and terrain. Most models include a governor so adults can limit speed for new riders. See each product page for typical ranges. Generally, 200 models have a top speed around 35 mph. The 300 models can exceed top speeds of 45 mph.
Will a full-size kart climb hills?
The 200 models climb hills very well. The 300 models are not designed for hill climbing- they're geared higher for speed instead.
Are these street legal?
TrailMaster go-karts are designed for off-road use. Street use depends on local laws—check regulations in your area.

We strongly suggest all go kart riders wear a DOT approved full face helmet. Operating a go kart comes with risks and you should prepare yourself and other riders with the proper gear. For children, we recommend a helmet and a set of goggles. For adults, there are lots of options with built in face shields. See some of our suggestions below.
