Why Seat Height Matters
Age and overall body size do not consistently determine whether a dirt bike will fit. Seat height provides a measurable starting point for comparing models, but it should still be considered alongside inseam, balance, strength, riding experience and control type.
Whenever possible, compare these measurements with a dirt bike the rider already fits. A rider should be able to balance the bike and confidently reach the handlebars, brakes and foot controls.
