TrailMaster Go-Kart Assembly Guides
Choose your model family before beginning assembly. TrailMaster Mini, Mid and full-size go-karts share some basic principles, but their roll cages, suspension parts, wiring and final setup are not identical.
Watch the complete video and read the correct guide before turning the first bolt.

Do not choose a guide based only on engine size or appearance. Find the complete model name and select the matching family below.

- Mini XRS+
- Mini XRX+
- Mini XRX-R+
The guide is also beneficial for earlier Mini XRS, Mini XRX and Mini XRX-R models. The Mini XRS has some differences, so compare the instructions with the exact machine.

Models:

These models share the same basic Mid-size assembly process. Follow any model-specific notes for reverse controls, bodywork or other equipment.

200 and 300 Go-Karts
Models:
- 200 XRS and 200E XRS
- 200 XRX and 200E XRX
- 300 XRS and 300 XRX
- Blazer 200X and Blazer 200EX
The 300 XRX has a slightly different roll-cage arrangement and several additional electrical connections. Identify and connect the matching plugs without forcing them.

GoKartMasters does not currently offer a complete Challenger UTV assembly guide. Mini-bike factory instructions will be added after they have been organized and reviewed. Until then, follow the current factory instructions supplied with the exact machine.
Before turning a wrench
Complete These Steps First
1. Photograph
Photograph the crate, the unopened kart, loose components, hardware bags and any damage.
2. Inventory
Find every component before assembly. Shocks may be behind the pedals, and the hardware bag may be zip-tied to the front suspension.
3. Watch
Watch the complete assembly video once before beginning, then replay each section while working.
4. Read
Read the guide supplied in the welcome kit and note any instructions specific to the model.
Plan before delivery day
Tools, Skill Level and Assembly Time
Skill level
If you can read instructions, identify parts and turn a wrench, you can complete the assembly. No advanced mechanical diagnosis should be necessary.
Expected time
Most families should allow approximately two hours. Two adults who are experienced with tools can often complete assembly in under an hour.
A second adult
A helper is recommended when aligning the roll cage and lifting or safely supporting the kart for wheel and suspension work.
Recommended tools
- Ratchet or impact driver
- Metric sockets through 24 mm
- Metric wrenches
- Screwdrivers
- Needle-nose pliers
- Rubber mallet
- Knife or cutters
- Low-pressure tire gauge
- Air compressor
- Jack and safe supports when required

Assembly Mistakes We See Most Often
Directional tires installed backward
This is the most common assembly mistake. Check tread direction before installing each wheel.
Roll cage tightened too early
Install and align every cage section before final tightening. Tightening one section first can prevent the remaining holes from lining up.
Chain adjusted too tightly
Remove excessive slack without tightening the chain like a guitar string. Follow the model-specific adjustment instructions.
Shipping hardware discarded
Some bolts removed from shipping brackets may be reused during assembly. Follow the guide before discarding anything.
Controls not tested
Test steering, brakes, throttle return, shutoff controls and the parking-brake release before the first ride.
Oil added to the gearbox
Do not add gearbox oil during normal setup. The gearbox arrives lubricated. Check and top off only the engine with synthetic 10W-30.
