Age is a starting point. Before ordering, check the model’s rider requirements, pedal reach, seating and restraints. The driver must be able to operate the controls properly; children also need appropriate experience and adult supervision.

Mini: Start here for smaller riders and a first go-kart. Compare the exact model’s controls and equipment.
Mid-size: Explore roomier options for growing riders. Moving up in size should depend on fit and control, not age alone.
Full-size: Compare options for teens and adults. For two riders, check the seating space and the model’s total load limit.

Gas, Electric or Two Seats?
