Mid XRS and Mid XRX
Non-reverse Mid platform. The driven pulley mounts to a jackshaft, which runs a chain to the rear axle.
Parts by system
Find the correct CVT or torque-converter drive belt for your TrailMaster go-kart or mini bike. Model name, reverse equipment and pulley spacing all matter. A belt that looks close may still be the wrong length, width or profile.
Do not order a drive belt by appearance alone. TrailMaster models can use different belts even when their engines or clutches look similar. Reverse and non-reverse Mid models use different pulley spacing. Confirm the exact model before ordering.
These transfer engine power through a CVT or torque converter. They are also called CVT belts, torque-converter belts or clutch belts.
Driver and passenger restraints are listed under Seat Belts, not this drive-belt category.
Exact-model fitment
Start with the model printed on the machine. If the decals are missing or you own a modified or secondhand machine, use our model-identification resources before ordering.
Non-reverse Mid platform. The driven pulley mounts to a jackshaft, which runs a chain to the rear axle.
Reverse-equipped Mid platform. The driven pulley mounts to the forward-neutral-reverse gearbox, changing pulley spacing and belt fitment.
These bikes use a 30-series torque-converter system similar in principle to the Mid, but you must still match the belt to the exact mini-bike application.
Shop MB200-2 USA-Made BeltThe discontinued 150 models remain supported, but a 150 belt should not be assumed to fit a 200 merely because the chassis looks similar.
Shop 150 BeltThese use a GY6-style, engine-integrated CVT. Carbureted and EFI fuel systems differ, but belt selection still begins with the exact kart model and drivetrain.
Open the 200 Owner HubThe liquid-cooled 300 platform uses a larger, heavier-duty CVT system. Do not substitute a 150, 200 or Mid belt.
GoKartMasters fitment rule
Length, width and belt profile matter, but model identification is the safest first step. The Mid XRX and reverse-equipped Mid XRX-R look closely related yet use different belt spacing. Standard Minis and Plus Minis also use different components in several systems.
If you are unsure, send the exact model, a full-machine photo, close-ups of the driver and driven pulleys, and every marking on the old belt before installing a replacement.
GoKartMasters carries model-specific standard belts and selected premium USA-made belts. Choose the correct fitment first; then choose the available belt option that best matches your needs. This category may also contain belt covers, cover hardware, gaskets and complete drive kits.
A straightforward model-specific replacement option when offered for your kart.
An upgraded belt option is available for selected applications. Always confirm that the product listing names your exact model.
Useful when diagnosis shows pulley, collar or related drive-system damage rather than an ordinary worn belt alone.
A belt is only one part of the drive system. Check the full system before assuming every no-move condition needs a new belt.
First five hours
Inspect for abnormal dust, odor, noise, slip or heat. On Mid machines, confirm the parking brake is fully released before every ride.
Regular service
Inspect the belt and drive system around every 20 hours of use or once per year, whichever comes first. Service sooner if the machine slips, lags or develops belt debris.
Seasonal preparation
Beginning each riding season with a fresh belt is helpful but not required. Keep the removed usable belt as an emergency spare when appropriate.
When servicing a Mid, MB200-2 or Hurricane 30-series torque converter, the sliding center collar must be installed correctly. Incorrect installation can cause catastrophic clutch failure.
Clean appropriate metal components with brake cleaner. Apply only a light film of grease around the center collar or sleeve. Keep grease, oil, chain lubricant and protectant completely off the belt and pulley faces.
A brand-new belt that burns quickly usually has another cause. We look for an engaged parking brake, incorrect belt fitment, a misassembled clutch or collar, worn pulley components, or contamination on the pulley faces.
For family riding days, keep one known-correct spare belt with your basic metric tools. Label it with the machine model so it does not get mixed with a similar-looking belt from another kart.
Match the exact TrailMaster model and drivetrain. Reverse equipment can change belt spacing. Do not choose from appearance alone.
It is a helpful preventive habit, especially before a new riding season, but not mandatory. Replace a belt when it is worn, damaged, slipping or failed.
Common causes include an engaged parking brake, wrong belt, contaminated pulley faces, incorrect clutch assembly or worn drive components.
No. A drive belt and its pulley faces must remain clean and dry. Belt dressing, oil and grease can cause slip and damage.
Possibly, but first check the parking brake, shifter position, chain, belt, clutch and cable adjustment.
Yes. A correctly labeled spare belt is one of the most useful parts to keep at home or carry on a family riding trip.
Send the purchaser or order name, exact model, full-machine photo, old-belt markings and clear photos of the clutch or CVT area. Text is usually the fastest way to reach our small family team.
