Real powersports equipment
Assembly and maintenance required
The owner is responsible for correct assembly, inspection, service, repair and safe operation.
Section 1
Agreement, age and website use
- Purchasers must be at least 18 years old. By completing checkout, you represent that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.
- Checking the Terms & Conditions box at checkout, using the website or placing an order constitutes acceptance of the version of these terms then in effect.
- These terms may be updated. The version posted on the website applies to website use and orders placed while that version is effective.
- If a provision conflicts with applicable law, the applicable law controls and the remaining provisions continue to the fullest extent permitted.
Section 2
Orders, payment and sales tax
Accepted payment methods
GoKartMasters accepts PayPal, major debit and credit cards, and eligible PayPal Credit transactions. Payment approval is controlled by the payment provider or issuing bank.
Payment verification
Banks may take up to approximately 48 hours to release or verify funds. An authorization, pending charge or order confirmation does not guarantee that inventory has been assigned or that the order has shipped.
Sales tax
Sales tax is calculated at checkout wherever legally required. Whether tax is charged depends on current law, the purchaser and the delivery address.
Contact information
The purchaser must provide a correct name, delivery address, email address and working phone number. Costs caused by an incorrect address, missed appointment or invalid contact information are the purchaser's responsibility.
Order acceptance: GoKartMasters may contact the purchaser to verify payment, identity, delivery details, inventory, color or other order information. We may decline or cancel an order before shipment when payment cannot be verified, inventory is unavailable, information is incorrect, a listing contains a material error or fulfillment is not reasonably possible. If GoKartMasters cancels an unshipped order for one of these reasons, the amount collected for the cancelled item will be refunded.
Section 3
Inventory, colors and product information
- Inventory changes quickly. TrailMaster dealers may draw from the same warehouse inventory, making exact real-time availability difficult to display.
- A product page, cart or order confirmation does not guarantee that a machine or first-choice color remains available when the order is processed.
- If the purchaser selected an approved second color choice, that second choice may ship when the first choice is unavailable. GoKartMasters will not knowingly substitute a different model or an unapproved color without customer approval.
- Manufacturers may change graphics, tire brands or sizes, colors and minor components during production. Current equipment may vary from older photographs without changing the machine's essential model or function.
- GoKartMasters works to keep descriptions, photographs, specifications and prices accurate, but typographical, photographic and manufacturer-data errors can occur. We may correct errors and may decline to honor an obvious or material pricing error before shipment.
A competing price is reviewed under our separate Price Match Promise. Price matching is discretionary, must be requested before ordering and compares the complete seller-controlled delivered price of an identical, available machine.
Section 4
Shipping, freight and delivery
Shipping included on qualifying machines
Standard shipping is included for go-karts, mini bikes and dirt bikes delivered within the lower 48 states. Complete-machine shipping is not offered directly to Alaska or Hawaii, although purchasers may arrange freight forwarding at their own expense and risk.
Parts may be shipped to all U.S. states. UTVs, golf carts or other oversized vehicles may require a separate car-hauler delivery quote when offered.
Freight is a third-party service
GoKartMasters pays the contracted carrier, but does not employ or control the terminal, dispatcher or delivery driver. We can explain the expected service, but cannot guarantee every carrier or driver will perform each step correctly.
Expected freight service
Freight-shipped machines normally include residential delivery, a delivery appointment, required signature and liftgate unloading at the end of the purchaser's driveway. The driver is expected to unload the crate with a liftgate and pallet jack.
Estimated timing
Most machines arrive approximately 10 to 14 days after the initial order, but this is an estimate, not a delivery guarantee. Payment review, inventory, weather, holidays, terminal congestion and carrier routing can change the timing.
Customer-caused fees
Redelivery, storage, address-correction, remote-access or other charges caused by an incorrect address, missed appointment, inaccessible location or customer-requested service are the purchaser's responsibility.
Parts orders: Parts may ship from the GoKartMasters warehouse or be drop-shipped by TrailMaster. Orders may travel by FedEx, UPS or USPS. We try to use the service selected or paid for, but the specific carrier and service level are not guaranteed when TrailMaster fulfills the order.
Read the complete Freight, Delivery & Parts Shipping Guide before delivery.
Warranty returns are different from ordinary parts returns. This section applies to voluntary returns and exchanges of purchased parts. A component returned for inspection as part of a warranty claim is governed by the GoKartMasters Limited Master Warranty, including its separate shipping, inspection and claim-approval terms.
Section 5
Receiving freight and documenting damage
Inspect before signing
Most cardboard and metal-crate damage is cosmetic. Customers should normally accept the shipment, document every concern on the bill of lading before signing, ask the driver to sign or initial the notation, and photograph the entire delivery.
Photograph all sides
Photograph the front, left, right, rear, top, inside the crate and the unloading process. Photograph the driver and equipment if the crate is handled roughly. Keep the bill of lading and packaging until the machine is fully assembled and inspected.
When to refuse delivery
Refuse a clearly incorrect model, a shipment with a punctured or seriously damaged engine, oil leaking extensively from catastrophic damage, or serious damage to the lower cockpit frame. Contact GoKartMasters immediately.
Reporting deadline: Shipping damage, missing components or receiving concerns must be reported within two weeks of delivery, preferably on the delivery day. Failure to document visible damage can prevent a successful freight or warranty claim. Accepting and signing for an incorrect model may make the purchaser responsible for return freight or may eliminate the ability to return that shipment.
Section 6
Cancellations, refunds and machine returns
Complete machines are not returnable
All complete-machine sales are final. Go-karts, mini bikes, dirt bikes and similar powersports machines cannot be returned because the purchaser changes their mind, decides the machine is the wrong size, no longer wants it, cannot assemble it, lacks a legal riding area or experiences a problem covered by the warranty process.
Before shipment: GoKartMasters generally has a no-cancellation policy. At our discretion, an unshipped order may be cancelled and refunded less a 3% payment-processing charge.
After shipment: Once a complete machine has shipped, there is no cancellation, refund or return. Delivery problems, shipping damage, missing parts and manufacturing defects are handled through the applicable freight and warranty procedures rather than by returning the machine.
Section 7
Parts returns and exchanges
- Contact GoKartMasters within 30 days. A return or exchange must be approved before anything is shipped back.
- The part must be unused and uninstalled. Installing a part makes it used, even if the machine was not ridden.
- Electrical and performance parts are not returnable. No electrical component may be returned after purchase.
- The customer normally pays return shipping. GoKartMasters pays when the return is caused by our verified shipping or fulfillment mistake.
- Approved exchanges may require additional outbound shipping. Refund-and-reorder may be used when a direct exchange is not practical.
- A restocking fee may apply, particularly to large, special-order or oversized parts. Original shipping and customer-paid return shipping are not refundable unless GoKartMasters made the verified error.
Confirm before installing. Similar-looking TrailMaster models can use different components. Standard and Plus Minis, 150 and 200 families, and carbureted and EFI machines are not automatically interchangeable. Use the Parts & Model Identification resources when uncertain.
Section 8
Assembly, maintenance and safe ownership
These are real powersports machines, not maintenance-free toys. Purchasing one includes responsibility for assembly, inspection, adjustment, service, repair, storage and safe operation.
Assembly
Machines normally arrive approximately 80% assembled. The owner must correctly complete the remaining assembly, inspect factory-installed systems and make any required adjustments. Professional assembly is not required, but anyone who is not comfortable performing powersports assembly should hire a qualified mechanic.
Initial and routine service
The owner must check engine oil before every start, complete the required five-hour break-in service and continue routine service approximately every 20 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Maintenance, adjustments and wear items are owner responsibilities.
Pre-ride inspection
Before riding, inspect brakes, throttle return, steering, tires, wheels, chain, belt, guards, restraints, safety controls, fuel and fluid levels. Do not operate a machine with a condition that could affect safe control.
Rider safety
Use a properly fitted DOT-approved full-face helmet, closed-toed shoes and the installed restraints. Provide responsible adult supervision, use an appropriate off-road riding area and obey all applicable laws and land-use rules.
Stop immediately when safety is uncertain. Do not ride with ineffective brakes, a throttle that does not return, binding steering, a fuel or brake-fluid leak, severe vibration, grinding or metal noises, overheating, a repeatedly derailed chain or any condition that makes the machine difficult to control.
Section 9
Master Warranty summary
Master Warranty Summary
Qualifying new complete machines purchased directly from GoKartMasters include the GoKartMasters 12-Month Limited Master Warranty. Coverage begins on the original purchase date shown in GoKartMasters' sales records.
The Limited Master Warranty applies only to the original purchaser shown in GoKartMasters' records and is not transferable.
The Master Warranty is a parts-only warranty. It provides approved replacement parts for qualifying manufacturing defects according to the complete warranty terms. GoKartMasters does not pay or reimburse repair-shop labor, owner labor, removal labor, installation labor or unauthorized diagnostic expenses.
Warranty Shipping
When GoKartMasters requires a suspected defective component to be returned for inspection, the customer is responsible for removing the component, properly packing it and initially paying the authorized inbound shipping charge.
If a non-engine warranty claim is approved, GoKartMasters pays standard shipping to send the approved replacement part and provides a parts credit to the original purchaser's GoKartMasters account equal to the documented authorized inbound shipping charge.
If an internal engine warranty claim is approved, GoKartMasters reimburses the documented authorized inbound engine shipping charge and pays standard shipping for the approved replacement or warranty remedy.
If a warranty claim is denied, shipping expenses associated with the denied claim remain the customer's responsibility, including return shipping when the customer requests return of a component or engine sent to GoKartMasters.
Warranty Diagnosis and Exclusions
Warranty coverage depends on the cause of the failure. Normal wear, routine maintenance, adjustments, improper assembly, neglect, misuse, collision or rollover damage, accident damage and failures caused or materially contributed to by improper repairs, modifications or aftermarket components are not qualifying manufacturing defects.
GoKartMasters may require photographs, video, troubleshooting, measurements, return of a suspected defective component or physical inspection before determining whether a warranty claim is covered.
For a claimed internal engine defect, GoKartMasters may require the customer to remove and ship the complete engine to GoKartMasters or another designated inspection location. An outside mechanic's invoice, diagnosis or recommendation does not by itself require GoKartMasters to approve an internal engine warranty claim.
Customers should not discard, internally disassemble, materially alter or authorize repair of a component requested for warranty inspection unless GoKartMasters provides authorization. A claim may be denied when alteration, disposal or unauthorized repair materially prevents reliable determination of the original cause of failure.
Collision, rollover, impact, racing, jumping, abuse or other accident-related damage is not covered. If accident damage caused or materially contributed to the claimed failure, coverage for that failure will be denied. Significant accident damage may also make later failures involving affected systems ineligible for coverage when reliable separation of accident damage from a manufacturing defect is no longer reasonably possible.
Warranty service normally remedies an approved defect through the applicable replacement component. A problem involving one component does not automatically entitle the purchaser to a refund, return or replacement of the complete vehicle.
This summary does not replace the complete Limited Master Warranty. The complete Master Warranty, including its coverage, exclusions, customer responsibilities, shipping terms, claim procedures and legal disclosures, controls all GoKartMasters warranty claims.
Section 10
Customer support and warranty communication
GoKartMasters is a small family business. The people helping customers also work with machines, parts and orders in the warehouse. We respond as quickly as possible but do not promise an exact response time, immediate telephone access or unlimited technical support.
- Text is usually fastest: 605-368-1612.
- Email longer details and videos: support@gokartmasters.com. The text system does not accept videos.
- Complimentary individual technical support is prioritized for customers who purchased the machine from GoKartMasters. All TrailMaster owners may use the public articles, manuals, videos and parts resources.
- Repeated calls, texts and emails can delay service for the sender and other customers. Send one complete message with the purchaser's name, order number, exact model, description, photographs and troubleshooting already performed.
- Warranty claims must begin in writing by text, email or the warranty form. Do not perform an unapproved repair or discard a suspected defective part. Once a written record exists, a technician may call when a conversation would help.
See the complete Contact & Support page for the information to include with sales, parts, technical-support and warranty requests.
Sections 11-16
General legal terms
Risk, operation and limitation of responsibility
Operating powersports equipment involves inherent risks, including property damage, serious injury and death. The purchaser and supervising adult are responsible for rider selection, instruction, protective equipment, riding-area selection, pre-ride inspection, maintenance and compliance with applicable laws.
The purchaser and supervising adult assume responsibility for risks arising from rider selection, riding conditions, improper assembly, inadequate maintenance, unauthorized modification, misuse, abuse, unsafe operation, failure to use appropriate protective equipment, failure to follow instructions or continued operation of a machine with a known unsafe condition.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GoKartMasters is not responsible for property damage or economic losses caused by improper assembly, maintenance, repair, modification, misuse, unsafe operation, unsuitable riding conditions, customer neglect, third-party services or failure to follow provided instructions.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GoKartMasters excludes liability for incidental or consequential economic losses including loss of use, towing, transportation, storage, lost time, lost income and similar economic expenses.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability or legal right that applicable law does not permit GoKartMasters to exclude or limit.
Website content and third-party links
Website information is provided to assist customers, but manufacturer information, specifications and availability can change. Links to manufacturers, carriers, videos, social platforms, payment providers or other third parties do not make GoKartMasters responsible for their content, availability, policies, security or performance.
Copyright and permitted use
Unless otherwise identified, the original text, photographs, graphics, videos, manuals, service resources and page designs published by GoKartMasters are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual-property law. They may not be republished, sold, scraped into a competing database or commercially reproduced without written permission. Manufacturer documents remain the property of their respective owners.
Email marketing and customer information
Order information is used to process payment, fulfill the order, coordinate delivery and provide support. Customers who opt into marketing may receive product information, owner education, maintenance reminders and special offers. Marketing emails may be unsubscribed from using the link in the message. Transactional order, delivery, safety and support communications may still be sent when necessary.
Governing law and venue
These terms and transactions with GoKartMasters are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, without giving effect to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable federal or state consumer law requires otherwise. Any dispute shall be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction and venue in South Dakota unless applicable law requires a different venue.
Severability, waiver and entire agreement
If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining terms will continue. A delay or decision not to enforce a term once is not a permanent waiver.
These Terms & Conditions, the product listing, the applicable shipping policy, the Master Warranty Policy and any written order-specific agreement accepted by GoKartMasters form the agreement concerning the purchase. An order-specific written agreement controls only where it expressly changes one of these general terms.
